Dave Barnhouse
Dave Barnhouse is a self-described “country boy” who grew up in small towns and has no intention of leaving their environs either physically or emotionally. “I want my art to make people feel as if they were back home on a Friday evening, so they can experience the warmth of a cozy fire and smell the homemade bread and cookies coming from the oven,” he says.
From One Generation to Another by Artist Dave BarnhouseCurrently, Barnhouse has settled into the American genre, constantly working with illumination and adding a nostalgic touch to make viewers feel they are actually present and a part of the painting.
Barnhouse’s works have earned many awards and honors, and he has been included in Inform Art’s “Top 10 Hottest New Artists” in 1995, and he has been voted one of America’s most popular print artists in dealer surveys by U.S. Art Magazine for the last four years, 1995-1998.

Liz Lemon Swindle
July will feature Lemon Swindle’s latest work, Jesus as well as a collection of her other published works.  Liz will be on hand to
meet fans and to personalize her art.

Liz has a deep, abiding faith that she feels blessed to share through her art. A lifelong Utah resident, she studied fine arts at Utah State University. She worked for several years as a set designer and painter for the Osmond Studios television production company.  However, Lemon Swindle became increasingly discontent, feeling artistically and spiritually unfulfilled. In October 1988 she reached a turning point when she submitted a portrait of children to the National Arts for the Parks competition and received the coveted Founders' Favorite award. She realized then that there was an audience for her portrait painting and by the early 1990s she had devoted herself to the topic closest to her heart: her faith. A one-woman show of her Christian art traveled to cities nationwide in the summer of 1997 and a book of her paintings, "She Shall Bring Forth a Son" was published in 1998.
